Boho Wedding Style: Dress Code and Decorations
Guests can come to your wedding in any outfits, strict dress code is not a must. Acceptable is a variety of clothing types as the style of Boho is about breaking restrictions and set rules. However, we advise to use bright natural colors: orange and yellow, green and blue, red and dark blue. The bridesmaids can dress in colorful or simple style dresses. Do not forget to remind the ladies to decorate their hair and put on the brightest jewelry.
Invitations to a Boho wedding should look bright and original. You can use jeans fabric, feathers, stripes of leather, fringe, thread, wool, beads and twine to decorate the cards. An image of natural elements is acceptable as well: mountains, meadows, trees, flowers. We recommend to make invitations on kraft paper and pack it in bags of cloth or leather. By decorating the whole composition with ethnic ornaments, you can achieve a unique look of cards for your guests. Add beads of acorns to the pouches or decorate them with some mini cones. This way the invitations will become stylish accessories which will be retained by the guests in memory of your solemn day.
Original ideas and decor elements are only welcomed. At first sight, Boho combines the most incompatible things. Ideal objects for decoration will be the handmade pieces, which bride and her bridesmaids can produce in advance. We recommend to use natural materials: linen, sackcloth, velour, velvet and chiffon. Branches of trees and plants will look truly gorgeous for the venue decorations. For drinks you can put ceramic dishes, glasses made of colorful painted clay or glass.
This holiday is airy and bright. Thus, make a special emphasis on lighting. Furnish the venue with a lot of kerosene lamps, candles, and flashlights of different styles. The space will look amazingly cozy and magical.
