In his 25 years as a professional photographer, William Thomas Cain has photographed presidents, governors, mayors, foreign dignitaries, celebrities, athletes, along with many others. During that time, Mr. Cain has captured many significant moments. However, there is no significant moment greater then the declaration of a couple's love in matrimony.
He accredits his diverse background to his extensive education at Philadelphia's University of the Arts. In 1987, Mr. Cain earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration with a minor in Photography from the University of the Arts.
Upon his graduation William Thomas Cain began work at the Philadelphia Inquirer until 1999. While there he perfected the fine art of photojournalism by juxtaposing graphic illustrative concepts with editorial imagery.
From the Philadelphia Inquirer William Thomas Cain became a contract photographer for the Associated Press, as well as joining Newsmakers Online Photo Service, now known as Getty Images, as their Philadelphia based photojournalist.
In 1994, Mr. Cain photographed a wedding for a friend. He enjoyed the experience so much that he now photographs up to 45 weddings per year in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York states. His style is the same as in his photojournalism, juxtaposing graphic illustrative concepts with editorial imagery.
